Feed Readers Watch

Shrook is now freeware
April 28th, 2006

Shrook 2.5 has been released and is now freeware, actually subscribtion based.

This isn’t a temporary promotion and this isn’t a sign of abandoning Shrook. I just want as many people as possible to be using it, because it is better than NetNewsWire and NewsFire and everything else out there. Shrook fans can now recommend it to their friends without requiring them to spend money.

Shrook 2.4
October 21st, 2005

The big new feature is Learning Groups, which learn by example. Drag items onto one and it’ll find similar items for you. While they work great for gathering items on the same topic, note that they are only based on keywords. If you create a “Stuff I’m interested in” group and just drag random items onto it, it probably won’t do anything useful.
